About this Event
Treat yourself to a day-long retreat,in the lovely gardened setting of the Home of Compassion, to explore and practise your natural state of being. This retreat is particularly designed to calm the mind, down-regulate the nervous system and reduce stress, so that we can move into meditation as the practice of Presence . We’ll use sitting mindfulness and breath practices, plus qi gong. There will be time to sit and walk at breaks, or to rest, and to write.

There is no religion, dogma or belief systems proposed in this retreat. Emphasis is given to your own experience, not theory. The retreat is suitable for beginners, and for those with experience in mindfulness meditation and qi gong.
$105 includes teas, coffee and snacks. Please bring your own lunch. Monring tea, ocffee and snacks provided, pjus teas and ocffee at lunch time.
