About this Event
Through gentle asana and balanced breath work, we will nurture both the body and the breath promoting mental focus, clarity and a feeling of anchoring in the body and in the present moment.
Central to the workshop is Restorative Yoga, a practice that seeks to counterbalance the strains and demands of modern life. Through long-held and supported postures and by creating the conditions of silence and stillness, we will deliberately reduce the activation of the fight-or-flight response, often responsible for stress and tension, while enhancing the activity of the rest-and-digest response. This shift towards the rest-and-digest state not only alleviates stress but also facilitates a deep sense of calmness and tranquility, both physically and mentally.
Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or a complete novice, this workshop is inclusive and accessible to all and will fulfill the need of silence, relaxation and rest.
