About this Event
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics of composting and how to creatively use up leftovers and overripe foods, transforming them into delicious, resourceful meals or snacks! You will also create a homemade recipe together! This workshop will certainly inspire you to minimize food waste in your kitchen.
Taught by Jessica Ullyott,
Jessica Ullyott is a full-time mom with a masters degree in biology from Miami University in partnership with the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance and has over 10 years of teaching experience. A published author and founder of Nature Needs SD. The mission of Nature Needs SD is to educate the community about nature spaces, sustainability and environmental stewardship.
