Reiki Level 1 Training

In this Level 1 class, we’ll cover the foundation, history and practice of this gentle, non-invasive method of energy healing. By the end of class, you’ll be able to practice hands-on for yourself and close friends and family. Course fee of $160 includes Level 1 attunement, training manual, and certificate of completion.

Class runs from 10am - 6:30pm with a 1hr break for lunch, and is held in person at Tribe Healing Arts - 1819 W Belmont in the Roscoe Village neighborhood of Chicago. Dress is loose comfortable clothing. Cushioned full body mats are available, but please bring any other blankets or pillows you might need to be comfortable sitting or laying on the floor.

In order to practice community care, masks are strongly encouraged.

Sliding scale is available for people in historically marginalized communities - please contact me to arrange. If you can afford to pay full price, please do so someone in need can also receive healing.

Info: We'll begin with brief introductions and housekeeping, then discuss what energy and Reiki are, and the history of Reiki up to the present day.

Info: Enjoy a 20 minute guided meditation to prepare your energy field for the Reiki attunement, followed by the attunement itself (about 3-5 minutes per person)

Info: Take this time to walk outside, eat lunch, and let yourself process the energy you just received.

Info: The afternoon will be spent getting to know how the energy works with you, practicing the 3 pillars of Reiki, and giving Reiki to yourself, followed by work in pairs.

Info: We'll close out the day by going over techniques to ground yourself, clear out energies that aren't yours, and nourish your personal energy.
