What is Reiki?
REIKI is a Japanese healing technique that harnesses universal life force energy to promote physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. It is a holistic health system that includes simple guidelines to help you create a happier life for yourself. It involves gently working with the energy field to promote balance and harmony within the body. It can support the body’s natural healing processes and promote overall wellness.
REIKI is practiced in hospitals, wellness clinics, at home, on the go or whenever needed.

This REIKI Level 1 Workshop covers the basics of REIKI healing and enables you to start using REIKI on yourself and others during in-person sessions. For more details about this Workshop see below.
The main focus of REIKI Level 1 is to unlock REIKI energy channels throughout your body and help you get started on a regular self-reiki practice at home. You will learn how to channel and direct energy, cleanse and balance the chakras and perform hands-on healing sessions.
There is much research, readily available online, as to the proven positive effects of REIKI energy.

Join Robyn Alexandrov, Reiki Master and Soo Woods, Therapist, Healer & Reiki Practitioner, and Soo’s Eureka Therapy Horse herd, for a one-day workshop that will enhance your self-awareness and provide you tools to support yourself and your loved ones moving forward.
What you’ll learn in Reiki Level 1 Course:
- Introduction to Reiki: Explore the origins, history, and philosophy of Reiki, and understand how it can enhance your well-being.
- Energy and Chakras: Gain a deep understanding of energy, the human energy field, and the chakra system.
- Reiki Principles and setting intentions: Discover the five Reiki principles and how they can guide you towards a balanced and fulfilling life.
- Be introduced to Reiki Symbols and their significance in enhancing the flow of healing energy.
- Attunements: Experience powerful attunements that will open your energy channels and connect you to the universal life force energy.
- Hand Positions: Learn the basic hand positions used in Reiki healing and practice giving and receiving energy.
- Self-Healing Techniques: Master self-healing techniques to address physical, emotional, and mental imbalances within yourself. Clearing and managing your energy for healing.
- Healing Others: Develop the skills and confidence to perform Reiki on family and friends.
- Ethics and Boundaries: Understand the ethical considerations and professional boundaries when working with Reiki.
- Integrating Reiki into Daily Life: Discover how to incorporate Reiki principles and practices into your everyday routines for ongoing healing and personal growth.
- Learn about the other levels of Reiki and the personal development path to becoming a Practitioner (Reiki II) and Master Level Trainer.
NOTE: No prior experience with horses is necessary.
Your training includes
- REIKI Level 1 Attunement (once attuned you retain the gift of reiki for the rest of your life)
- Teaching of all required theory and hand positions for Level 1
- Comprehensive manual
- A session practicing REIKI with the herd at Highlands Centre For Healing
- Healthy snacks, and water / tea / coffee available through the day [BYO lunch]
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Reiki Level 1 Certification where you’ll be ready to practice Reiki on yourself and your loved ones.
After completing your Level 1 training and fully integrating and embodying a daily practice, you could take Reiki further with Reiki II training which allows you to start your own Reiki practice with clients. Reiki II also allows you to perform remote or distance healings.
