Reiki is an energy healing technique in which a Reiki master (who has undergone formal training in this healing art) uses gentle hand movements with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy (what’s known in Reiki as life force energy) through the client's body to reduce stress and promote healing. Reiki is a form of complementary and alternative medicine; there’s evidence it can reduce daily stress and help with management of some chronic diseases.
Reiki healing uses your energetic field to dissolve clogged energy and return the body, mind and spirit to their natural state.
This alternative healing is used to help a variety of mental, emotional and physical challenges such as insomnia, stress, depression, anxiety, and acute or chronic physical pain.
We will then move into a deeper relaxation while being bathed in the vibrations of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, Tibetan gong and tuning forks. The combination of sound and Reiki can strengthen one’s meditative experience and have profound healing mentally, physically and emotionally.
During a sound bath, the brainwave state is altered from normal waking state (beta) to relaxed state (alpha), dreamlike state (theta), and even restorative state (delta). As the mind and body relax, the heart rate and blood pressure decrease and our breathing become deeper. This can put you into a level of relaxing you will love!
