"Regress to Progress or Less is More In our culture we are accustomed to "more, more, more" with a heavy focus on achievement now. Our bodies don't share this mission or this timeline. We fail to see -- or remember -- to value and honor the process before achievement. In this 6-week class series, learn what taking a step back can do for you, your body, and your mind. When we practice yoga, we mend not only our muscles, bones, tendons, and ligaments, but also our nervous system and its effects on the mind, heart, and soul. Explore the concepts of peace and contentedness and play with ceasing all moral judgments on how much or how "far" you're going in class or in a pose. We'll focus on the hips, spine and chest; all levels welcome as this will be a slower paced class with options for modifications (regressions and progressions).
