Arrive at Onepoto Domain between 11:30 and 11:45 for a meet and greet.
Ride safety briefing at 12:15pm.
No unlawful behaviour
No clown behavior - burnouts, wheelies or rev bombing etc
This will be a disciplined and lawfull ride.
If you can't behave, then don't attend.
ROUTE: Once on the motorway, we will occupy the two left lanes only - exit on Fanshawe Street, Right on Halsey, Right on Victoria, Right on Beaumont, return to motorway, occupy the two left lanes then off at exit 421 return to Onepoto Domain for media debrief.
Expect media to be there - if asked - say this.
We are riding the bridge because big-bike rego is being driven from about $540 in 2025, to about $816 this July, and about $960 in 2027.
ACC says it's about risk — but it cannot prove bigger bikes are higher risk. Under the ACC Act, risk-based levies need a lawful and rational basis. If the evidence does not support the category, the charge is unlawful.
That is why we ride.
