Location: Definitely Superior Art Gallery on 115 Cumberland St. North.
The Artist:
Leather Fur Hat Making with Sarah V. Moonias from Neskantaga First Nation, and lives in Thunder Bay, ON. Sarah learned how to sew from her late grandma. Sarah has taught us on making moccasins in 2023.
We are happy to have her instruct us on making leather fur hats. Eeeeee
On Friday, Sarah will be instructing the first workshop on sewing the leather fur hat pattern together.
Saturday, we will be finishing up our warm hats to take home.
We'll be proving refreshments and snacks.

Neechee Studio is a grassroots organization ran by Indigenous Youth who aim to provide free workshops in Thunder Bay for Indigenous Youth ages 13-30. Established in 2013.
