About this Event
The Moravian University Preservice Chapter of NAEA is hosting a series of hands-on Material Exploration workshops! Sign up for individual workshops that fit your schedule! All workshops will take place at Moravian University's South Campus in Historic Bethlehem.
Dr. MaryJo Rosania Harvie will cover the basics of needle felting while teaching how to shape and sculpt wool into three-dimensional forms and two-dimensional images. This introductory workshop focuses on fundamental techniques, safety and creative applications for both personal artmaking and classroom use. Participants will leave with a finished felted piece and ideas for adapting felting into various educational contexts.
Supplies will be provided.
Parking directions and a parking pass will be provided to registered participants by email before the event.
Participants will receive 2 hours of Act 48 credit.
