REGENESIS is a space for the exploration of movement and sound. GENSIS: to begin, to express as we were created. Just like a plant undergoing phylogenesis, we are in a constant upward motion of growth and of regeneration.
This exchange follows a ‘dance battle format’. However, we want to create a space for exchange instead of competition. This is open for all who want to tell their story in movement. Your authenticity & vulnerability is powerful - we hold space for it. All are welcome to spectate as well.

Doors open: 2:40pm (for exchange participants)
Event start: 3pm
Prelims begin: 3:30pm
Battle participant tickets open till 5 JUNE 2359. Non will be sold at the door. Only Spectator tickets open all the way!
1V1 EXPERIMENTAL category:
This is an open category that will take on an experimental approach. Dancers from any background (both street dance styles and non street styles) are welcome to participate.All are encouraged to freely express movement that is authentic to you. Expect to be inspired and challenged by different types of music, sound and exploration of concepts.
7 to smoke WAVING category:
The waving exchange will embrace the capacity to embody
and express waves. It’s about the quality of the movement,
illusions, and feelings you’re able to tap into with the music.
Flow with depth. Connect with the vibrations and those around you.
You can expect varying frequencies and amplitudes of waves to be played.
