Une sélection de courts-métrages des écoles de cinéma Agnès Varda et LUCA School of Arts (sélectionné par LuCi).En écho à la vitalité du jeune cinéma bruxellois, cette soirée réunit deux espaces de création singuliers : l’École de Photographie et de Techniques Visuelles Agnès Varda, institution historique engagée dans l’apprentissage de l’image et du son, et le collectif LuCi, né de la LUCA School of Arts et dédié à l’image en mouvement hors du cadre académique.
Les films choisis témoignent du foisonnement des approches de leurs auteurs émergents : du vidéo-texte, où voix et image s’entrelacent, aux oeuvres expérimentales en passant par le documentaire et l’animation, chaque œuvre interroge et renouvelle les formes du récit visuel. LuCi propose des expositions, des projections et des événements avec des artistes émergents - étudiants et récents diplômés - qui cherchent à partager leur travail au-delà des institutions académiques et dans le tissu culturel de Bruxelles. L’École Agnès Varda met en avant une pédagogie basée sur l’échange et la convivialité, portée par la diversité des parcours et des regards audiovisuels nouveaux.
Par ce dialogue entre école et collectif, cette soirée invite à découvrir les multiples manières de raconter, d’explorer et d’interroger le monde par l’image.

A selection of short films from the Agnès Varda Film School and LUCA School of Arts (selected by LuCi).
Echoing the vitality of young Brussels cinema, this evening brings together two unique creative spaces: the Agnès Varda School of Photography and Visual Techniques, a historic institution committed to the learning of image and sound, and the LuCi collective, born from the LUCA School of Arts and dedicated to moving images beyond the academic framework.
The selected films reflect the richness and diversity of approaches of these emerging filmmakers: from video-text, where voice and image intertwine, to experimental works, documentaries, and animation, each piece questions and renews the forms of visual storytelling. LuCi offers exhibitions, screenings, and events, with emerging artists -students and recent alumni- who seek to share their work beyond academic institutions and into the cultural fabric of Brussels. T he Agnès Varda School emphasizes a pedagogy based on exchange and conviviality, driven by the diversity of backgrounds and new audiovisual perspectives.
Through this dialogue between school and collective, the evening invites audiences to discover the many ways of telling, exploring, and questioning the world through images.
