BAAITS invites Two-Spirit, IndigeQueer, and Indigenous LGBTQIA+ community members to join us for a hands-on shawl regalia making workshop. Whether you are beginning your regalia journey for the first time or continuing a practice that has been passed down through generations, this space is made for you.
Shawls are one of the most powerful and expressive forms of regalia, worn in ceremony, at powwow, and as a declaration of identity and pride. This workshop is an opportunity to create yours in the company of community, guided by an experienced cultural bearer.
