The theme for 2026 is A Million Stories which invites us to celebrate the stories of refugees, their children, grandchildren, and future generations who have shaped and will continue to shape our community.
At this year’s Refugee Week celebration in Lane Cove, hear from speaker and writer Abang Othow about her firsthand experiences of resilience while growing up in Sudan and arriving in Australia as a refugee. Bask in the sounds of a Persian musical performance by Ehsan Kachooei and Shervin Mirzeinali. Enjoy some light refreshments throughout the evening.
