About this Event
NatWest is committed to championing potential, helping people, families and businesses to thrive. In line with Refugee Week 2024's theme of "Our Home", we’re collaborating with Bristol Refugee Festival and Ashley Community Housing (ACH) to bring people’s lived experience to life.
During this event, we’ll hear from Bristol Refugee Festival ambassadors about how financial services providers could make interactions with people from multicultural backgrounds more positive, and they’ll also share some of their positive and negative experiences of navigating life in a new place. We'll also hear from Ashley Community Housing (ACH) about feedback and insights they've received from refugees they provide with enterprise support, as well as a knowledge sharing session where NatWest will give a high level overview of the Time to Change report findings, it’s recommendations and the principles of providing an equitable service to ethnically diverse entrepreneurs.
This event is ideal for decision makers or strategic leaders within financial services or enterprise support, community support organisations, people who interact with multicultural communities on a daily basis or anyone who doesn’t have exposure to multicultural communities and would like to expand their knowledge to make their propositions more inclusive. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with each other during this event.
