"The Refresh Retreat was more than I expected, and something my soul needed more than I realized. Bonnie was an incredible hostess, planning out so much for us from delicious meals, to putting together activities/classes, and allowing time to reflect and come together as a sisterhood at the end of each day. Her strength matched her nurturing nature as she walked us through some physical and emotional journeys that were difficult and raw. She was inspiring, uplifting, and ready to take on whatever each of our journey’s brought to the group! I came in with hopes of connecting with myself & others, while doing some healing, and came away with that and SO MUCH MORE!! The only flaw was that I wanted more and was sad it ended, I wish it was a couple more days!! THANK YOU BONNIE. It was life changing. "Going into the retreat I was more focused on how I could help myself. As an introvert, I thought the weekend would be filled with awkward laughs and forced connections. When I say you can trust Bonnie with any secure environment, I mean it. The warmth, the welcoming, the trust, the raw emotions that cam with that weekend were unparalleled. Many of the women voiced the struggles they were facing, but even if you didn't, the women were all there to support you when the tears came. I cannot express the gratitude I have for Bonnie for providing that safe environment to expose our emotions. The women I bared my soul to are my sisters . The bonds we created while we explored the dark depths of our body and mind will never go away. The bonds that Bonnie creates with not only me, but everyone she meets is still mind blowing. "I have been on my spiritual journey going on five years. I have sat with groups of women, I have done ceremony’s knowing I was walking away better then when I started. I found the things that spoke to me and I’ve implemented those practices every day for the last few years . But nothing will top the spiritual retreat I had the pleasure of being apart of with Bonnie. I have never been in a position to feel so seen and pushed beyond the comfort zone I came with. I believe in the work and I know how powerful it is but this weekend hit every mark and then some. Being in a room full of alpha women who came there knowing they had things to release and knew it’s was upon all of us to make the space safe enough to do so. And that’s exactly what we did. We settled into the uncomfortable dropped the shields and opened our hearts to each other and our energy. By the end of the first night we were sitting up laughing and the thought of “ when was the last time any of us had a sleepover”? And immense laughter followed. "I can’t put into words how profound this retreat is and how much of an impact it’s made on my life. I have been to 2 retreats in the last year and each time, Bonnie and Refresh’s magic gift me with everything I could possibly need in the moment and more. I have been in wildly different head spaces each time I‘ve attended. During my first experience, I arrived to the retreat at an all-time low. I was in the midst of a heavy anxiety/depression spiral, was in a grieving period due to unexpected losses, and almost pulled out at the last minute. I showed up incredibly fragile and emotional. I’m so grateful that I stuck with it because being in such a raw state allowed me to let all my guards down and be receptive and open to healing in all forms. I was there while I was going through “IT” with absolute strangers. Their ability to hold space for me to work through heartbreak and unexpected emotions healed me in ways I won’t ever find the words for. The second time I attended, I felt the most aligned and empowered version of myself I’ve ever been. Ultimately, that allowed me to then hold space for my new sisters. Each Refresh Retreat was drastically different yet each time, its medicine provides. It has healed parts of me I never knew needed attention or healing and has brought so many lifelong sisters into my life. I have never felt more safe, heard, seen, supported, and loved around a group of women than I do when I’m with these women. It has been life-changing each time.
