We invite you to join us for a time together as a couple while connecting with other foster families, learning from amazing speakers and being given the opportunity to refresh your "Why".

We are excited to have Ryan and Kayla North, Cofounders of One Big Happy Home as our guest speakers this year!
They are a dynamic husband-and-wife duo who have dedicated their careers to helping adults create environments where children feel safe, welcome, and loved. Through their work, they have become trusted voices for parents, professionals, churches, and educators, equipping them with the tools to foster healing and connection.
Their commitment to empowering caregivers and strengthening families has earned them a well-deserved reputation as leaders in the fields of parenting and child development. Through conferences, workshops, online courses, articles, and personalized coaching, their transformative work continues to inspire and guide caregivers. Their passion is deeply personal—they have six children, four of whom joined their family through adoption from the foster care system.
Ryan is the author of Wherever You Go: A 28-Day Devotional for Adoptive and Foster Parents, a heartfelt resource designed to encourage and uplift caregivers on their journey.
In addition to their work with families, Ryan and Kayla are the cohosts of Better Together, a marriage podcast that offers candid conversations, practical advice, and encouragement for couples seeking to strengthen their relationship.
They also cohost The Empowered Parent Podcast, where each episode delves into relevant parenting topics, offering insights and actionable strategies to help listeners navigate the challenges of raising children with trauma histories. Their warm and relatable on-air presence makes their podcasts go-to resources for those seeking wisdom, encouragement, and practical guidance.

This event will be held at the EVEN Hotel Sarasota-Lakewood Ranch by IHG. While not required, we recommend you stay at the hotel the nights of 4/17 and 4/18.
