In this session, we’ll dive into the ways stress affects our mind and body, offering quiet time to write about the pressures you face. Through guided prompts, you’ll explore your relationship with stress and discover tools to manage it more effectively. Together, we’ll share insights, find strength in our collective wisdom, and create a nurturing space for self-expression and healing.
Why is Reflective Journaling Therapeutic?
Writing and journaling are often underestimated as powerful methods for healing. Numerous studies have shown that writing can significantly reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety while improving overall well-being.
Writing doesn't have to be a long and arduous task; focusing on specific areas can be incredibly effective. For example, a study has shown that participants who wrote about significant life events for just 15–20 minutes on 3–5 different occasions experienced significantly better physical and psychological outcomes compared to those who wrote about neutral topics.
