About this Event
A new year means different things to everyone, but offers a reflection moment for all. We're gathering St. Pete's creative community for a New Year's Eve celebration with over 15 acts across genres, from funk and hip-hop to house, featuring both live music and DJs, indoor/outdoor stages, craft beer, food, and a new liquor bar at Bayboro Brewing in the Warehouse Arts District.
Celebrating a quarter century is a major milestone. One need only look to the past… 1925 was a historic year. There was The Scopes Monkey trial, where a high school teacher was in violation of the law for teaching evolution, now look how far we've evolved — or not if you feel Idiocracy is upon us. Winston Churchill returned England to the gold standard, now we have digital, decentralized cryptocurrency. Charles Francis Jenkins achieved the first synchronized transmission of pictures and sound — that's TV in layman's terms — now we're attached to the hip with internet connected pocket-sized TVs. So what history will 2025 hold? Take a look in the mirror, reflect, and see a window into the future with us.
