Discover how policy becomes action! This interactive session provides a clear breakdown of the legislative process, equipping attendees with practical tools to effectively engage with lawmakers. Whether you're new to advocacy or a seasoned reentry champion, all are welcome to join!

PARKING
If you are driving – we are validating parking at the Republic Parking (Senate Ave Parking Garage) at 220 N Senate Ave. **Remember to keep your ticket with you so we can give you the validation.
BUILDING ACCESS
Public access to the building is through the east doors at the top of the steps. Be prepared to go through metal detectors and to have bags, backpacks, and purses x-rayed.
The lower west entrance doors provide the only ADA access to the building. Turn right or left inside the vestibule doors, and you will find elevators around the corners.
We will meet in the House Chamber.
ATTIRE
This is a casual event, and there is no dress code. However, if you would like some professional attire to wear to the Statehouse, check out these resources:

SCHOLARSHIPS
The first 35 people who are criminal legal system-impacted and attend the entire event are eligible to receive a $100 scholarship for attending, in the form of a gift card. This includes anyone who has experienced incarceration, arrest, or detention - or has a close family member who has. (Note: stipends are reserved for justice-impacted folks volunteering outside of their normal paid job duties)
