About this Event
The Grand Hotel Budapest
On behalf of Monsieur Gustave H. we extend a personal invitation, though regrettably, not in person, as certain legal entanglements in the Republic of Zubrowka demand my continued discretion.
The Grand Budapest Hotel was a bastion of charm, a symphony of impeccable service and the stage for a most riveting and, dare I say, aesthetically pleasing caper. The tale involves Msr Gustave, a priceless Renaissance painting, a rather disagreeable son, a loyal lobby boy and the finest Mendl's pastries, which, are the ultimate currency in any civilised crisis.
We shall screen this poignant, if somewhat dramatised, account of his legacy. I assure you, the fascists and murderous thugs are portrayed with a certain… stylistic flair. It is a testament to friendship, loyalty and the maintenance of dignity in the face of outright barbarism.
I insist you attend. It promises to be an affair of the highest order.
Your humble concierge,
Ms. S
