A traveling lecturer and his assistant travels to a small town to host a film screening for concerned parents about a new drug menace targeting the young children of today. The musical is based on the 1936 anti drug propaganda film, Reefer Madness. The film within the film follows the story of Jimmy Harper, who is a good wholesome teenager, in love with Mary Lane, until he falls in with a bad crowd led by Jack, a local drug dealer.
With songs written by Dan Studney and Kevin Murphy (who later wrote Heathers: The Musical), and an all star cast featuring Alan Cumming, Neve Campbell, Christian Campbell, and Kristen Bell.
This musical will leave you with a gentle,euphoric feeling!!
