About this Event
Redefining Success is a multi-generational conversation that centers the real, non-linear journeys of Black alumni. Rather than focusing on traditional definitions of success, this event invites students and alumni to explore how careers evolve, how pivots happen, and how purpose is often discovered along the way.
This year’s program will feature a keynote address by Kitwanda Smith Cyrus, owner of Kiki’s Chicken & Waffles, who will share her personal journey of entrepreneurship, resilience, and redefining success on her own terms. Through honest reflection and storytelling, attendees will gain insight into navigating uncertainty, embracing change, and building a path aligned with purpose.
