"Leave the trail better than you found it." This is the first rule in our group's trail etiquette. Let's put it into practice.
It's not our trash, but everyone should practice being a good steward of the environment. Let's do our part with this family-friendly event.
We'll meet at the Tanque Verde Falls upper parking lot @ 0700 to coordinate. Bring gloves, trash bags, and trash grabbers, if you have them. I'll try to bring extras of the above to hand out.
* This isn't a hike. It will be a leapfrog effort in vehicles as we meander up the road.
Following our efforts we'll head to the lower falls to take a dip in the water and cool off.
I will provide beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) and snacks for those that attend.
