Come down to the Truck Stop Diner for live music by The Dial Tones! Enjoy delicious eats and fresh Red Truck Beer!They met about 10 years ago through mutual friends from university. Dillon was then playing in a Calgary punk band, The Shapes, and Lucas was touring with U.S.-signed rock band The Februarys. After hearing Adrianna sing, Lucas knew he had to collaborate—leading to their first band, Second Narrows. That project’s indie/folk album Make It Last was followed two years later by The Ark Royals, a louder, female-driven rock band that included Februarys guitarist Matthew Gibson.
A hiatus followed in 2014 as careers and babies took priority, but in 2018 they reunited as The DialTones. They now perform covers as a 5-piece when possible—and in smaller forms when not—with a focus on fun and favorite songs. They sure did Make it Last!
With diverse tastes, The DialTones (Dillon, Lucas, Adrianna) deliver a genre-blending mix of Country, Rock, Indie Pop, and Hip Hop. Friendly and laid back but never boring, their mission is to get you singing along and vibing—whether in a room, hall, or at a festival.
