About this Event
1959. Rothko’s studio. Mark Rothko (played by Joseph Lynch) is a world renowned painter who has been commissioned to paint murals for the Four Seasons restaurant in New York. His assistant Ken (played by Nathan Harris) not only helps him create these murals but find creative integrity in the process.
Presented by Undercoat Theatre Company: a new Glasgow based theatre company with a focus on multimedia and tech driven performance started by University of Glasgow students Briony Conaghan and Mia Rinaldi. After a successful work in progress performance in May, Undercoat Theatre Company is proud to return Red to the Friday Studio Sessions once more.

This performance will take place in the Performance Studio in Gilmorehill, on the 8th of November at 1:10pm sharp.

The Friday Studio Series is a chance for Theatre Studies postgraduate and honours students to share work in a relaxed and friendly environment. (If you are interested in sharing work, please email Graham Eatough.)
These sharings are open to members of the Theatre Studies department and other guests from around the University. Seating is limited, so reserve in advance to guarantee a spot. Any remaining seats will be available for walk-ins on the day!
