Join Keep Suffolk Beautiful for the April 11, 2026, Recycling Drive & Tire Amnesty Day!📍 Location: 800 Carolina Road, Suffolk, VA 23434
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
This FREE tire amnesty, safe disposal, and recycling event welcomes the community, and we sincerely appreciate any non-perishable food or toiletry donations!
Items accepted at the event include:
- Tires: Rims removed, 22-inch rim size or less (ID required)
- Clothing & Shoes: New or gently used
- Electronics: TVs 42 inches or smaller (no old tube TVs)
- Recyclables: Plastic bottles/jugs, plastic bags, glass containers, cardboard, paper & magazines
- Eyeglasses & Hearing Aids
- Gently Used Plant Pots
- Household Hazardous Waste: Cleaning products, CFL bulbs, batteries, automotive products, indoor pesticides, paint (limits: 5 gallons liquid, 75 lbs. dry; ID required)
- Document Shredding: Protect against identity theft (if this station becomes extremely busy, a limit of 3 grocery bags of documents per guest will be implemented)
- US Flags: Accepted for decommissioning by local Boy Scouts
- Mosquito Control will provide free information and mosquito dunks.
