Drop off hard-to-recycle items at this collection event.Hosted by Eastside Catholic School, this recycling event is a joint effort between the City of Sammamish and the City of Issaquah. Partners include Eastside Catholic School, WA State Department of Ecology, King County Solid Waste Division, King County Hazardous Waste Management Program, PaintCare, and the E-Cycle Washington Program. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; no vehicles can enter after 12 p.m. Please pack your items so they can be removed quickly from your vehicle.
Items for Collection
Oil and Latex Based Paint
Allowed:
-Interior and exterior architectural paints
-Latex, acrylic, water-based, alkyd, oil-based, and enamel paints
-Shellacs, lacquers, and varnishes
-Primers, sealers, and stains
Paint Guidelines:
-All products must be in original container, with original label, and in liquid form
-Paints cans and containers do not need to be full
-Limit 100 gallons per vehicle
-Service provided by PaintCare
Not Allowed:
-Spray paint
Electronics/ Computer Equipment/ TV Sets
-DVD players, VCRs, stereo equipment, printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, and cellular phones.
-Computers, computer monitors, laptops, mice, keyboards, tablets, and e-readers.
-TV sets encased in plastic, wood console, sets encased in wood, and big screen TVs accepted.
-Please remember to remove all personal information from electronic devices prior to collection.

Confidential Document Shredding
-Shredding and recycling of confidential paper materials
-Please bring paper to be shredded in paper bags for the ease of recycling
-Limit of 4 file-size boxes or 5 bags
