Recycle Wool Felting Workshop

Come join us for a fun-filled crafting event at Gone to the Dogs! Get your creative juices flowing and learn the art of wool felting. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter, this in-person workshop is perfect for all skill levels.

Gone to the Dogs recycled ♻️ wool felting workshop is back on! For those lucky few who reserve, you’ll learn the basics of wet-wool felting and handcraft your own pet toy. It requires some patience and maybe some refreshments🍹 but in the end… will be totally worth it for your little four-legged loved one!!! 🐶😸

Many who follow us or have visited our shop know first-hand that our artisans from Nepal have perfected the generational art of wool felting 🐑. Since we first opened our doors in Brooklyn, we’ve offered a recycling program for our toys. For more information about Gone to the Dogs mission check out our site!

Our recycle program has successfully gathered enough wool to throw a recycled wool felting party!

*COVID-19 protocol will be in place. Note that due to the limited amount of indoor space we are scheduling the event for 6:30-8pm to allow for steady flow of traffic. There will be complimentary drinks served starting 6:30pm. Anyone planning on having refreshments indoors should be prepared to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Masks will be mandatory inside. There will be outdoor space available. Thank you for your cooperation!

*The workshop will include optional needle felting in a small group setting. With your attendance and participation in the workshop you will agree to not hold Gone to the Dogs responsible for any accident or illness. There is a first aid kit on site, but should the worst happen participants will give consent for our staff to seek medical assistance.
