Recreation Leader Training
A 2 day training course to equip individuals working in summer camps and recreation settings with the skills and confidence to be strong, positive leaders. Participants will develop practical strategies for creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments where all children and youth feel welcomed and valued. Through hands-on activities, leaders will strengthen their communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and behaviour guidance skills. This training empowers staff to lead with empathy, model respect, build meaningful connections, and foster fun, active experiences that support growth and belonging for everyone. Participants who participate in both days will earn 2 industry standard certifications- High Five and Inclusive Leadership Certification.
May 2- Day 1 - (9am-4pm)
Morning- High Five- Principles of Healthy Child Development (Certificate)
Afternoon- Inclusive Leadership Certification (Certificate)
May 3- Day 2- (9am-4pm)
