The 3rd Annual “Sober X South East Recovery Takeover” will take place Sunday, March 16th, 2025 at 4pm, at Empire Control Room & Garage off 7th and Red River in downtown Austin, TX. All proceeds of this groundbreaking event benefit The SIMS Foundation and RecoveryATX.Sober X South East Recovery Takeover is an annual live music and interactive art celebration featuring artists from the recovery community, both known locally and nationally. The goal of the event is to create an inclusive alcohol and drug free experience during March festival week for people that are in recovery, sober curious, allies, friends and more.
In the previous years, we have had impressive lineups showcasing talented artists and performers including Swimming with Bears (Austin), nolo (Austin), Drugstore Cowboy (Nashville), Cliffdiver (Tulsa), Will Knaak (Austin), Bart Crow (Dallas), and more.
This year, with the partnership of a new well-known and established Austin venue, and a whip-smart team of talent buyers, we are booking the biggest acts yet featured across two stages. We are also proud to announce a massive expansion to the interactive art element of this event, showcasing the talents of some incredible artists.
