About this Event
Welcome Heart Warriors! This powerful, fun journey of healing moves stuck energy in the body, releases energy that does not belong to us and retrieves aspects of our soul we have been yearning for. This leads to an unwinding of stuck compulsive relational patterns, prevents relapse of addictions and creates new pathways for flow and connection to our creative greater purpose.
This guided journey of music and movement will be an exploration of connecting both internally and externally through the breath and movement and role-play. We will travel through the 5 levels of the heart-mind with somatic inquiry, authentic movement practices, buddhist spontaneous awareness practices and somatic parts-work practices to heal, have fun and explore who we are and how we move when we feel more embodied freedom.
We engage in this practice beginning with an embodied, moving meditation with the guidance of somatic awareness or embodied Self to befriend all parts of ourselves. By befriending ourselves, our sensations, emotions and parts of us that play roles or hold pain-we build more emotional tolerance, authenticity, balance, happiness, freedom and connection both within us and to our spirit guides within and around us. Our embodied sense of expansive Self can feel into both yin and yang, shadow and light to integrate all parts of us.
Getting to know our internal landscape of Self and parts with a group of other people allows for a powerful, safe, non-judgemental community that can heal our relational wounds. We are wounded in relationship, we must heal in relationship with ourselves, with others and in our relationship with the divine. Group experiences and allows for many people to be in relation to others and feel safe enough to be themselves, allows for very powerful healing. Many times a workshop experience can be as much as years of talk therapy in one group.
