About this Event
Please note when booking tickets, you must provide your name and email address, and when booking multiple tickets, you must list the name of each attendee, and email address.
On Saturday the 7th of September, join us at Greenmarket (Coach bays), in Dundee City Centre, at 8.45am (Bus leaves promptly at 9.00am). Recovery Walk 2024 will be held at Glasgow Green from 11am till 4pm.
We will leave Glasgow Green at 4.30pm promptly and we will be back in Dundee for approximately 6.30pm.
Booking for this event will end at 9am on Friday 30th of August, 2024.
The event is comprised of three parts: Roses in the River Memorial, Recovery Walk Scotland procession through the town and a Recovery Festival and Village in Glasgow Green.
The walk is approximately 2 miles through Glasgow City Centre (which should take just under an hour). For anyone who is unable to take part in the Recovery Walk, you are welcome to gather in the Recovery Village/Festival area after the Roses in the Clyde ceremony to welcome the procession back.
There will be video recording and photography taken on the day which may be used for Scottish Recovery Consortium social media, websites and documents to remember the day. If you do not wish for your image to be used, please contact staff at the SRC stall within the Recovery Village on the day.
Recovery Walk Scotland is supported by many organisations and community groups. Last year over 4,000 people took part in Recovery Walk Scotland in Greenock.

Itinerary:
11 am: Roses in the Clyde Ceremony
12pm: Walk begins and ends from Glasgow Green.
1pm: Recovery Festival Opens with speeches and live music
3.50pm: Closing Speech & Serenity Prayer
