About this Event
<h4>Young Sea Changers Scotland is a charity dedicated to empowering young people aged 16-25 with the skills, knowledge and confidence to speak up for Scotland’s seas. You can read more about us at www.youthforseas.org.</h4>
We are inviting young people from across Scotland to come together for a day of training, workshops and celebration of Scotland’s seas and the inspiring people who stand up for them. Get to grips with your marine policy knowledge, put your advocacy skills into action and even meet an MSP. There will also be plenty of opportunities for socializing, meeting new people and building our Young Sea Changers Scotland community in a relaxed and friendly setting.
This event is specifically aimed at young people aged 16-25 who live in Scotland.

Teas/coffees/hot choc available throughout and a vegetarian/vegan lunch will be provided. Regular breaks throughout the day.
Travel costs
We are able to provide financial support for anyone where travel costs would be a barrier to participation. Please indicate in advance whether you need to access this support at check out. These costs will be reimbursed to you after the event by providing valid receipts of your expenses. Getting there
Dundee Contemporary Arts is in the centre of Dundee. We’d encourage everyone that is able to choose sustainable travel options where possible.
<h4>Train</h4>DCA is 7 mins walk from Dundee train station with regular trains to Edinburgh (1hr10mins), Perth (21mins), Stirling (28mins) and Aberdeen (1hr10mins) which all have onward connections.
<h4>Bus</h4>There are regular bus services from Dundee Railway station, including to St. Andrews (99 - 30 mins), Edinburgh Bus Station (M92 - 1hr30mins) and Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station (M9 - 1hr45mins).
<h4>Bike</h4>There are bike locking facilities available outside the main DCA building.
<h4>Car</h4>There is car parking available behind the main DCA entrance, in front of Dundee Science Centre, with level access to DCA via a lift. Please note there is only one disabled bay available.

- Gender neutral toilet facilities are available throughout the venue
- A quiet sensory space will be available to use throughout the day
- A vegetarian and vegan lunch will be provided - please let us know if you have any other dietary requirements
- All speakers will use AV system and visual prompts and there will be copies of any written materials available
- Please feel free to bring and use any other accessibility tools you want: sunflower lanyards, headphones, fidget toys etc - everything welcome!
