Recovery House: Sisterhood of Sound
Join Recovery House as we host our 11th party! We've been throwing sober raves for over two years, all designed to bring joy to the dance floor. Lining up with International Women's Day, this next party has a lineup of four amazing divas all set to deliver the magic: house music to make you dance. Let's go!
This party is a fundraiser for OTHERWORLD. We raise FUNds to make our sober space as amazing as possible, keeping sober ravers safe and inspired and shining our Light for any who are sober curious or just thirsty for a mocktail and sober reprieve.
The theme for our ALL GRLS LINEUP is WONDERFUL WOMEN! It’s International Women’s Day and we’re celebrating the divine feminine in all her forms. Come as a fictional baddie, a historical queen, a feminist icon — or rock your more feminist T-shirt or just wear whatever makes you feel hot, strong, soft, wild, radiant or unstoppable.

Inspired by a local DJ competition, Bliss Prema moved from the dancefloor to the decks. After three decades of reveling in music and movement, she honed her craft under the mentorship of MyLove (Mylo Wiger). DJ Leanne 9pm-10pm
The original “GirlOnWax”, DJ Leanne is the owner/operator of Western Canada’s longest-running and most successful female-owned DJ Company: ‘GirlOnWax Entertainment’. She has been DJing for 30+ years and is incredibly proud of the talented award-winning team of GirlOnWax DJs & Musicians that she’s built!
In her DJ career thus far, Leanne has spun opening sets for some of the world’s most renowned DJ’s: Kaskade, Boy George, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Armand Van Helden, Derrick Carter, DJ Heather & Mark Farina, to name a few.

LUCY FORD 10pm-11pm
Lucy Ford has been mixing dance music for 2 decades. Getting her start in the Toronto scene, she has circulated between university radio stations and dimly-lit rave spaces, blending house, drum and bass, breaks, UK garage, halftime d&b and UK funky beats, most recently experimenting with live flute accompaniment. Over the past 10 years, she has been featured on west coast stages including those hosted by her company Footwork Entertainment in Victoria, BC.
