Como parte de Giras en Español: Más arte. Más conexión., este recorrido gratuito en español está diseñado para crear una experiencia más inclusiva y acogedora para los visitantes hispanohablantes del Valle Antílope y más allá.

Dirigida por un traductor certificado y personal del MOAH, esta visita guiada destacará la Galería Principal y la impactante instalación Mammalian de Tanya Aguiñiga. La obra de Aguiñiga está profundamente influenciada por las tradiciones artesanales mesoamericanas y precolombinas de Latinoamérica, transformando materiales naturales como el algodón, la lana y la terracota en intrincadas esculturas de gran formato. Su práctica explora temas de género, identidad, nacionalidad y maternidad no tradicional, entrelazando el conocimiento ancestral con la experiencia contemporánea.

To our Spanish-speaking community: you're invited to a special Recorridos de MOAH en Español tour of our current exhibition m\other.

As part of Giras en Español: Más arte. Más conexión., this free Spanish-language tour is designed to create a more inclusive and welcoming experience for Spanish-speaking visitors from the Antelope Valley and beyond.

Led by a certified translator and MOAH staff, this guided tour will highlight the Main Gallery and the powerful installation Mammalian by Tanya Aguiñiga. Aguiñiga’s work is deeply influenced by Mesoamerican and pre-Columbian Latin American craft traditions, transforming natural materials such as cotton, wool, and terracotta into intricate, large-scale sculptures. Her practice explores themes of gender, identity, nationality, and nontraditional motherhood, weaving together ancestral knowledge and contemporary experience.
