The appointment system for Record Store Day will back in action again this year! The sign-ups will start on Friday 4/3.
Appointment times will be emailed a few days before the event, most likely on Tuesday 4/14. You must then reply within 24 hours of receiving the appointment email to confirm. The sooner you sign up, the earlier in the day your appointment will be. Anyone 13 years or older must submit an entry to get an appointment time. Once your appointment time is here, the rest of the process will be just like years past. Employees will fulfill everyone's wish lists to the extent the items are available. We'll see you on Saturday 4/18!
Fine Print:
No holds or preorders. One sign-up per person. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. Your appointment is for you and you alone--no spouses, partners or friends. The only exception is that you can have one child 12 years or younger with you. Appointment times are non-transferrable and are not to be sold or auctioned. You will need to show your ID to use your time slot. If you are not present for your time slot, you will have to wait until after the appointments to shop the RSD titles. Appointments will be structured in 15-minute blocks. There will be no line outside, except for the people in the next 15-minute block. Phone orders and curbside pickup will be available after 2:00. We will be open for regular shopping beginning at 10:00, but will not be buying or trading until mid-afternoon.
