Yeah. Heute sind ein weiteres Mal die belgischen Postrocker_innen „We Stood Like Kings“ bei uns zu Gast. Wie immer in Kooperation mit unserem Bielefelder Lieblings-Plattenlabel „Kapitän Platte“. Das ganze garniert mit einem Record-Release.
„We Stood Like Kings“ kehren mit einem außergewöhnlichen Filmkonzert zurück, das die berühmte Geschichte von Pinocchio neu erzählt. Die Bilder stammen von keinem Geringeren als dem flämischen Illustrator Carll Cneut, Gewinner zahlreicher internationaler Auszeichnungen, und die Animationen stammen vom Brüsseler Studio „Cartoonbase“.
„The new We Stood Like Kings album is a bit of a new musically turn in the history of the band.
For the first time they have written the music just the way they wanted and the animated movie of Pinocchio was created to fit the music and not the other way around.
Also you should get ready for some heavier stuff than before, a bit more post-metal into the typical piano-driven post-rock.“ Kapitän Platte
