About this Event

Step away from the stresses of daily life and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of private woodland in the stunning Surrey Hills. Our guided Forest Bathing session invites you to slow down, awaken your senses, and deeply connect with nature in a mindful and restorative way.

Wander through the woodland at a leisurely pace, engaging all your senses—breathe in the fresh, earthy aromas, feel the textures of bark, listen to the soothing sounds of birdsong, and absorb the calming atmosphere of the forest. The experience culminates in a unique ‘treelaxation’ nature meditation, allowing you to completely unwind beneath the leafy canopy, followed by a warming woodland tea.

Rooted in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, Forest Bathing is a proven method to enhance well-being, with benefits including:
🌿 Strengthening the immune system for over two weeks
🌿 Balancing blood pressure and reducing cortisol levels
🌿 Easing anxiety, stress, and rumination
🌿 Improving sleep, memory, and concentration
🌿 Boosting creativity and overall mental clarity

Your Guides & Location

Led by Katie Robinson & Joanna Bristow-Watkins, experienced Forest Bathing guides from Harmony In Nature, this session takes place in the peaceful, semi-ancient private woodland of Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary—a dedicated sanctuary of well-being since 1947, with breathtaking views over the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

While here, why not explore the nearby picturesque village of Shere, famous as a film location for period dramas?
