NOTE: ReCollections is intended for individuals living with Alzheimer's and related dementias and their families/caregivers.This month’s ReCollections session draws inspiration from Larry Bell: Improvisations, an exhibition featuring luminous glass sculptures and reflective surfaces that play with light and space. Bell’s work invites viewers to slow down, observe, and engage with their surroundings in new ways. In this relaxed and welcoming environment, individuals living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias, along with their care partners, are invited to explore the artworks and share personal reflections, stories, and impressions sparked by the visual experience.
Following the gallery discussion, we will create artwork that embraces the unexpected and beautiful ways in which light and surface interact.
