Somatic Exploration & Nervous System Regulation
International Women’s Day – 3-Hour Women-Only Workshop
This women-only session offers a gentle, supportive space to stop, pause, and reconnect with your body, exploring practices that nurture nervous system regulation.
Through guided somatic exploration, mindful practices, somatic movement, and restorative exercises, you will be invited to:
- Release some tension held in the body
- Build increased resilience and emotional strength
- Cultivate a stronger sense of safety, ease, and self-trust
- Connect more deeply with your authentic self
This session is trauma-informed, meaning it is designed with awareness of the impacts of past trauma and prioritises your choice, autonomy, and consent at every stage. You can engage at your own pace, participate in ways that feel safe and comfortable, and step back whenever you need.
The session draws on:
- Trauma-sensitive mindfulness inspired by David Treleaven
- Gentle practices for self-acceptance and emotional healing, influenced by Arielle Schwartz and Tara Brach
This is a confidential, women-only space. While we hold space together with respect, it is not a replacement for therapy. Participants are invited to be held and witnessed collectively, without sharing individual trauma stories. Together, we create a safe environment where everyone’s experience is respected, and the focus is on feeling supported, seen, and connected.
You will have opportunities for both quiet reflection and shared connection, honouring the power of sisterhood while supporting your personal exploration. Together we will:
- Celebrate womanhood and feminine strength
- Experience the warmth and support of a safe, nurturing community
- Learn practical tools to regulate your nervous system in everyday life
Who is this for?
- All women, of all bodies and experience levels
- No prior experience with somatic practices, mindfulness, or movement is needed
- If you want to experience something new
- Want to feel connected to other women but also feel a deep connection to yourself and your body
The intention is to leave the session feeling grounded, supported, and empowered, equipped with some practical tools and practices to nurture your body, mind, and nervous system and you are always guided by your choice.
