In a world that glorifies productivity, rest has become a radical act — especially for those who feel deeply.
This restorative one-day retreat invites highly sensitive people (HSPs) to step out of the noise and return to a gentler rhythm. Amid the quiet beauty of winter, we’ll explore how to rest not only the body, but also the way we pay attention — shifting from striving and overwhelm towards presence, embodiment, and ease.
Through guided meditations, reflection, shared silence, simple ritual, and time connecting with nature, you’ll learn the art of rest — cultivating practices that calm the nervous system, restore balance, and help you carry this steadiness into the year ahead.
There will be warmth, good home-cooked Ayurvedic food, candlelight, and kind company — and plenty of permission to simply be.
You’ll leave feeling rested, grounded, and gently renewed — but also changed: more connected to yourself, to others, and to the living world around you.
This day is part of the Wintering series of events, but you’re warmly welcome whether or not you’ve taken part before. It’s for those who long for a community of resonance — people who get it, who value gentleness, depth, and sincerity.

Location: Near Marlow, SL7 2HU in the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, UK. We'll be in our retreat cabin in the woods overlooking the wildlife pond.

Parking: If you’re coming by car, let Cindy know as parking is limited and we will reserve you a place.

Transport to and from train stations: We will collect you.
Disabled access: Unfortunately, the location and venue is not suitable for wheelchair users. The ground is uneven and there are steps.
