Andréa Lawson Gray is a cookbook writer and culinary anthropologist whose books and collaborations sit at the intersection of culture, research, and the home kitchen. A James Beard Award and IACP recipient, her culinary background in both restaurants and branding informs her historically grounded food narratives while also speaking directly to contemporary audiences. She divides her time between San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York where she continues to research, write,
and collaborate on culinary projects.
