Recipe Swap at Cups Café

Recipe Swap: 

Join us in the Cups Cafe for a festive Recipe Swap on December 6th, from 10 am - 1 pm, where you can share your favorite recipes and discover new ones! We invite our community to gather in the Cups Cafe located at 8501 N 30th Street. Enjoy our special holiday drink menu and discover new recipes to try at home!

Here's how it works:

• Bring Your Recipes: We'll supply stylized 4 x 6 recipe cards for you to write down your favorite recipes.
• Share and Decorate: Leave one of your recipe cards with us and we'll use them to decorate the cafe!
• Discover New Favorites: As you mingle, browse through the recipes shared by others. Feel free to take pictures or copy down any recipes that catch your eye.
• A Year of Recipes: While the event is a kick-off, recipe cards will be available all December long if you'd like to continue sharing!

Beyond the Recipes:

We'll be capturing the spirit of the day! We'll be taking photos of people with their recipes and creating videos of attendees sharing stories about their dishes. If you have any photos to go along with your recipes, please bring them to include in the video! Take it a step further by bringing a dish of your favorite recipe to share with others and highlight on camera.

This event on December 6th is only a kickoff to get the recipe swap started with a social event and community gathering. You can participate in the recipe swap at Cups Cafe all month long. Just come by any time we are open and add your recipe to the collection while you peruse the gallery of recipes. Cups Cafe is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7 am - 2 pm.

What You’ll Provide:

• Your favorite recipes to share with the No More Empty Pots community!

The recipes shared will be compiled into a digital community cookbook to highlight the smorgasbord of wonderful recipes in our NMEP community.

Come and go as you please between 10 am and 1 pm and enjoy a wonderful day of community, food and fun! This is a free event, though we kindly ask you to purchase a drink from the cafe to support our organization.
