Re+Charge is a candlelit movement ritual held in honor of Imbolc, the quiet midpoint between darkness + spring. As winter softens + the first subtle sparks of renewal begin to rise beneath the surface, we gather to acknowledge what is shifting within us. This evening offers a warm, intentional container for women to release what has been held, reconnect with their bodies + awaken the inner light that has been resting through the colder months.
We open in sacred circle to ground into presence + orient to the season. An optional plant ceremony invites deeper awareness + softens the layers around the heart. From there, the space widens into ecstatic dance by candlelight - a free-form, judgment-free landscape where the body leads, the mind quiets + movement becomes its own kind of medicine. We close with restorative sound, allowing the nervous system to settle + integrate everything that has been moved, felt + released.
Re+Charge is not a performance + not a class. It is a ritual of returning to breath, to body, to instinct, to the quiet wisdom that lives beneath thought. No dance experience is needed. Only a willingness to arrive as you are.
For your comfort, please bring water, comfortable layers for movement, + a journal if you wish to capture what comes through. Anything that supports your personal sense of ritual or ease is welcome.
This gathering is intentionally intimate, held within a small community of women ready to soften, release + rise into the season ahead. Limited to 12.
