About this Event
Join Us for an Afternoon of Reflection and Connection
As the ReSOURCE Exhibition at the South Side Community Art Center (SSCAC) approaches its closing, we’re excited to invite you to the ReSOURCE Partner Roundtable —a special program to honor and amplify the community-driven initiatives that embody resilience, creativity, and resourcefulness.
We’ll be kicking things off right on the dot at 3:00 PM and wrapping up precisely at 4:30 PM. So please—don’t be fashionably late for this one! Get here a bit earlier to settle in, grab a drink, and find your seat. We promise, the conversation will be worth it, and you won’t want to miss a single minute. See you (on time!) Saturday!
This roundtable discussion brings together SSCAC’s ReSOURCE Program Partners, who have transformed their communities by reclaiming vacant spaces and creating hubs of culture, growth, and unity. Moderated by Terra Engagement Fellow Juarez Hawkins, this event provides an opportunity to hear firsthand from these partners about their innovative work and the impact of ReSOURCE funding. Confirmed guests include representatives from Grow Greater Englewood, Earl’s Garden Mae’s Kitchen, Bronzeville Neighborhood Farm, First Nations Garden, and Young Cultural Stewards/TRACE.
