Thomas, ‘Dusty’, is shattered when his farmland is completely destroyed by fire. With nothing to call his own, he winds up in a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) camp, living in a trailer alongside others who have lost their homes. Adversity offers opportunities; Dusty manages to find community with his neighbours, while reconnecting with his nineyear old daughter and ex-wife Ruby. Quiet and meditative for a neo-Western, this is a moving portrait of resilience and human connection in the aftermath of loss against the backdrop of the magnificent Colorado landscape. DIRECTOR: Max Walker-Silverman STARRING: Josh O’Connor, Lily LaTorre, Meghann Fahy
