Dear Rebels,November seems to be surgery month for some of us, but we will still be getting together for dinner.
Shirleen had surgery on her neck at St Marks on Wednesday, 11/5, and while I haven't spoken with her directly yet, I did leave a message with her husband Ronnie letting them know we are wishing her the best.
On Tuesday I will be having surgery at Huntsman on my cancer and will be in the hospital from 1 to 4 days, and then recouping at home after that. I have a ride there and back, and have several people offering assistance after I get home, so I should be fine.
But back to dinner.
Shirleen thinks she will be up to dinner on Tuesday, November 25th at 6:00pm at the Red Maple Chinese. I'm gonna see about picking her up before dinner so she doesn't have to drive, but she may feel up to driving herself too.
