3 Experiential Workshops on Transformational Change , Presented by Sono Hashisaki
About this Event

This series of half day workshops is an invitation to experience the oneness of embodied non-dual consciousness through meditation and movement. Deepening contact with ourselves in our bodies supports greater wholeness, internal coherence and is a foundation for fuller engagement in the movement of our lives. We will use Realization Process practices to attune to the subtle circuitry of your body and the subtle breath to open your whole being to unified consciousness. Sono Hashisaki will guide us to experience this deep connection to ourselves and the pervasive stillness and balance of fundamental consciousness.

Each workshop will focus on inhabiting our bodies as an entranceway to fundamental consciousness. We will use movement and meditation practices to deepen and stabilize our experience of this deeper dimension of self as a foundation for exploring the nature of trauma, relationships and collective healing.

Workshop 1: Whole Self Saturday, April 13, 2024

This first workshop will focus on inhabiting our bodies to experience deep contact with ourselves. Then we will learn how we are organized in our bodies and ways that we grip or hold tension. We will learn practices to unwind where we grip ourselves so that we can be more fully present to ourselves in the moment.

Workshop 2: Relational Space Saturday, May 11, 2024

In the second workshop we will build on deepening our contact with ourselves and see/feel how we experience other people, situations or settings. We will refine our sense of inhabiting our bodies and bring presence and transparency to our engagement with the world around us.

Workshop 3: Generative Community Saturday, June 8, 2024

The third workshop will focus on ground; deepening our connection with ourselves, with our home environs, our communities, and the land that supports us. We’ll call on the strengths of our ancestors, traditions, and the places that have shaped us, creating the foundation for who we are today and will explore the relationships that lend joy and support us all to best meet the future. We’ll engage our resilience collectively and as individuals to bring qualities of stillness, balance and steadiness to what might feel confusing, chaotic or just too much.

This workshop is accessible for people of all physical abilities and backgrounds.
