💚Excited to Bring another Realistic Retraining evening to our region. This time at Usk College. Kindly supported by Bliss of London Saddle Makers, join us for a practical, insightful demonstration designed to support anyone involved in retraining or caring for former racehorses. Led by Amy Bannister-Bell, BHSI (Stage 5) Performance Coach and British Showjumping L3 UKCC coach, this engaging event will guide you through the key stages of the retraining journey – from the initial “first steps out of racing” to the development of a confident, well-rounded riding horse.
You’ll see former racehorses at different stages of retraining and gain valuable advice on managing common challenges along the way. With time for questions (and socialising too!), this is a must-attend event for:
• Current owners of former racehorses looking for practical tips
• Prospective owners considering taking on a retired racehorse
• Coaches seeking a deeper understanding and CPD opportunities
• Anyone interested in second careers for former racehorses
